Called Joe to come out and check a deck roof that we thought might be leaking. Joe responded very quickly. He was nearby and came right over. Turns out we didn’t have a roof leak but a window sill leak. Joe was very professional and helpful even though our problem was no longer something he worked on, and he even took the time to help us troubleshoot a bit more. Our roof will need to be replaced in a few years. Will definitely be giving Joe a call! All of the positive Google reviews were accurate. Definitely give Joe a call.

And he was able to recreate the noise and diagnose it! Bonus - he was super nice and accommodating. Now just waiting on the estimate and repair. The cost for the visit/diagnostic was reasonable (less than previous plumbers we’ve used) - and it gets applied to the estimate/repair. Would recommend Beantown for sure.

I won’t go anywhere else.

They sent me an email and a text with his photo to let me know he was on the way. Brian has been here on at least one other occasion and is very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I appreciated that he put on shoe coverings before entering the house so as not to track dirt from the wet grass inside. This was routine maintenance, and afterwards he explained that our heating system is in good order. I specifically asked about the blower motor, which we've had problems with in the past due to a faulty unit supplied by the manufacturer. This was tested and found to be in good shape. A very satisfying service call. I renewed my service plan with Beantown Home Services and have been very happy with my interactions with the company. This visit was covered under my heating system service plan, which I renewed during the visit.

Today we had our usual spring tune-up for our heat pump prior to the cooling season. While the tech was running late, Beantown kept us informed of time changes so we knew when to expect him. Eric was courteous and professional as he explained what he was going to do and later as he explained the results of his evaluation. He followed up with a written summary of the work completed. We have found all Beantown techs to be thorough and helpful in their work, and Eric was no exception. We feel ready now for summer to arrive!

Every interaction with this local service provider has been positive. Today it involved coming out on short notice to repair the capacitor in our A/C (on one of the hottest days of the summer), which failed overnight. Our technician, Ricardo Mendes, was here right on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, explained what went wrong, and had us back and running in less than one hour. He is polite, friendly and professional. Highly recommend Beantown and especially taking advantage of their service plans for maintaining heating/cooling equipment.
